Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Cloud Studios services (“Services”), including but not limited to visiting the Cloud Studios website located at cloudstudios.org (“Website”) or purchasing our Minecraft builds, maps, or other creative assets (“Products”), you (“User”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Agreement”). If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Definitions

In this Agreement:

• “Cloud Studios,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Cloud Studios and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents.
• “Services” means all products, features, applications, websites, or other services operated by Cloud Studios.
• “User,” “you,” and “your” refer to any individual or entity purchasing or using our Services.

3. Compliance with laws and platform policies

• 3.1 The User shall comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in connection with the use of our Services.
• 3.2 Users purchasing Minecraft-related products must also comply with Mojang’s End User License Agreement (EULA) and Minecraft Marketplace or server host policies, if applicable.
• 3.3 Users must not use our Services for any unlawful, exploitative, or malicious purposes.
• 3.4 Any report of violation or abuse may be submitted to us at contact@cloudstudios.org.

4. Prohibited website activities

You are expressly prohibited from engaging in the following activities on or in relation to our Website or Services:

• 4.1 Attempting to exploit, hack, damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems.
• 4.2 Using the Website or our Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.
• 4.3 Copying, reproducing, or redistributing any content, design, or proprietary information from the Website or our Products without written permission.
• 4.4 Framing, scraping, or mirroring any portion of the Website without prior authorization.

5. Prohibited use of services and enforcement

• 5.1 Users are expressly prohibited from engaging in the following activities in relation to Cloud Studios’ Services or Products:
• a. Reuploading, reselling, or redistributing any build, map, or design purchased from Cloud Studios without authorization.
• b. Claiming ownership or credit for work created by Cloud Studios.
• c. Sharing purchased files publicly or with third parties who have not purchased the Product.
• d. Using Cloud Studios’ content for commercial resale, marketplace listings, or server monetization unless specifically licensed.
• e. Encouraging or enabling others to reproduce or mimic Cloud Studios’ Products.
• 5.2 Enforcement Rights. Cloud Studios reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
• a. Terminate access to Services or Products, temporarily or permanently, with or without prior notice.
• b. Remove or restrict access to any User violating these terms.
• c. Pursue legal action against Users who violate this Agreement, including reporting such Users to relevant authorities.
• d. Investigate and prosecute violations of these terms to the fullest extent of the law.

6. Refunds and account restrictions

• 6.1 All sales of digital Products (including Minecraft builds and maps) are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
• 6.2 In the event a refund is granted at Cloud Studios’ discretion, the User’s license to use the Product is immediately revoked, and the User is prohibited from accessing, using, or redistributing any related files.

7. License and usage terms

• 7.1 Upon purchase, the User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the purchased Product for personal or server use in accordance with this Agreement.
• 7.2 The User may not resell, re-upload, distribute, or share the purchased Product with others.
• 7.3 The license is valid for use on one (1) server or project unless otherwise stated in the Product description.
• 7.4 Commercial server usage (e.g., monetized Minecraft servers) requires express written permission from Cloud Studios.

8. Transfer policy

• 8.1 Each Product license is granted to the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred to another person or account.
• 8.2 Cloud Studios reserves the right to review and approve special transfer requests at its discretion.

9. Third-party relationships and disclaimer of liability

• 9.1 Cloud Studios is an independent creative studio and is not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or any Minecraft server host or marketplace.
• 9.2 Users acknowledge that Cloud Studios has no control over how third parties use purchased builds or maps once distributed.
• 9.3 Cloud Studios disclaims all liability for the actions, conduct, or misuse of Products by any User or third party.

10. Service availability and termination

• 10.1 Cloud Studios does not guarantee uninterrupted access to our Website, Products, or Services.
• 10.2 We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate access, or remove content at our discretion, including but not limited to cases involving violations of this Agreement.
• 10.3 Upon termination, all rights granted to the User under this Agreement shall cease immediately.
• 10.4 Sections relating to ownership, license restrictions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability shall survive termination.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cloud Studios, its staff, affiliates, and licensors from and against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our Services or violation of this Agreement.

12. Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall Cloud Studios be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services or Products.

13. Amendments to agreement

• 13.1 Cloud Studios reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time without prior notice.
• 13.2 Continued use of our Services or Products following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

14. Miscellaneous

• 14.1 If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
• 14.2 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Cloud Studios and the User and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
